Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager Department: Finance Reports To: Assistant Controller Position Summary The AR Manager oversees all back-office Accounts Receivable operations across 21 legal entities, leading a team of 4 professionals. This role is responsible for cash application, journal approvals, reconciliations, refunds, credits, AR reporting, and month-end close while ensuring strong internal controls and audit readiness. Key Responsibilities * Lead and develop a team of 3 AR professionals and 1 AR Supervisor. * Oversee cash posting, unapplied cash, refunds, invoice credits, write-offs, and settlements. * Approve daily and monthly AR journals in D365 and ensure accurate GL coding. * Manage month-end AR close and related account reconciliations. * Perform quarterly AR reserve analysis in partnership with the Controller. * Research and resolve GL variances, posting discrepancies, and intercompany reclasses. * Serve as ERP subject matter expert; partner with IT to improve system efficiency. * Manage ACH, credit card, and vendor portal activity. * Support internal and external audits. * Serve as primary point of contact for internal stakeholders across 55+ locations Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. * 7+ years of progressive AR experience, including leadership. * Strong ERP experience (D365 preferred). * Advanced reconciliation and analytical skills. * Experience managing AR across multiple legal entities. * Strong Excel skills
