Job Description Accounts Receivable Specialist Common Interest Management Services (www.commoninterest.com), an Associa company, is one of the largest and fastest growing HOA community management firms in the Bay Area. About the role The ideal candidate, will manage a full portfolio of homeowner’s associations in cooperation with a community relationship manager. Core responsibilities include: Management of accounts receivable (accounting for money paid to homeowner’s associations) Monthly billings to homeowners Monthly late fee and finance charge assessment to accounts Manage delinquent payment activity and homeowner correspondence; work to outsource collections activity with third-party collection company Miscellaneous cash receipts Partner with Community Managers to investigate inbound queries from Board members Direct inbound customer service calls to answer homeowner questions regarding billing, late fees, account history and payment status Change of ownership after escrow closes This is a full time position working Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm onsite in our San Ramon location. Requirements The ideal candidate will have a great attitude toward the Accounting profession three-to-four years of experience and meaningful career progression over time. High School diploma required, BS in Accounting preferred. Strong customer service skills, ability to engage customers in a positive and memorable way;help problem solve customer questions quickly and without conflict Strong detail orientation with careful execution of tasks without errors Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Strong computer skills with MS Office, Teams, Adobe, Outlook and Excel Collaborative personality with a proven ability to work within a team Ability to speak languages in addition to English is a plus Salary will be based upon your education and experience $47,000 to $50,000.
