WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 2+ years of experience in claim denial resolution.
• Knowledge of payer appeal processes, reimbursement methodologies, and healthcare financial practices.
• Familiarity with state, federal, and compliance regulations related to billing.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with Waystar preferred

Behind the scenes, our revenue cycle team plays a vital role in ensuring we can continue delivering quality care. We are seeking an Accounts Receivable / Denials Specialist who will help us recover denied claims and keep operations running smoothly.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Investigate and resolve claim denials, including correcting and resubmitting claims, filing appeals, and pursuing payors for reconsideration.
• Track and report denial trends, contract discrepancies, and authorization issues.
• Partner with state agencies and payors for claim resolution guidance.
• Perform billing audits and quality control checks to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle Supervisor to drive efficiency and maximize recoveries.
• Support a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the team.
