SUMMARY

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for the daily AR processes of cash application and invoicing, reconciling customer accounts, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external partners. The ideal candidate will have attentional to detail and excellent communication skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent; 3+ years related experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, credit & collections, or a similar accounting role.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems preferably SAP.
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in a high-volume AR environment a plus
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring timely and accurate sales invoicing and cash application.
  • Investigate and resolve customer payment discrepancies, disputes, and deductions.
  • Work closely with sales, customer service, and other departments to resolve billing issues and improve payment cycles.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers to facilitate a smooth payment process.
  • Reconcile AR sub-ledger to the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Enforce appropriate credit limits and release of orders on credit hold.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in the accounts receivable function.

This position does not have direct employee supervisory responsibility.
