Description

Your role

We are growing in two markets simultaneously—Germany and France. With this growth, the number of invoices, incoming payments, and outstanding balances is increasing. Much of the process is functional today, but not yet systematic.

This is exactly where you come in. You'll take over operational receivables management for both markets: from payment processing and direct debit collection to dunning procedures, payment reminders, and handover to debt collection agencies. The role is clearly defined — accounts receivable with a focus on outstanding invoices, dunning, and debt collection, with direct customer contact and a high degree of autonomy in day-to-day operations.

Your tasks

Payments & Direct Debits

  • You carry out the weekly direct debit (SEPA) collection.
  • You record incoming payments and assign them to the outstanding invoices.
  • You process returned direct debits, clarify the reasons, and initiate the resubmission process.

Dunning & Debt Collection

  • You manage the dunning process and create payment orders in the court-ordered dunning procedure.
  • You hand over claims to our external debt collection service provider according to clear rules and manage the cases operationally.
  • You will contribute your experience when we standardize handover and escalation criteria for Germany and France.

Open items & evaluations

  • You create and maintain the open items lists and keep track of due dates and age structure.
  • You regularly prepare the status of outstanding items for the Head of Finance.

Tickets & Customer Inquiries

  • You process tickets related to invoices, payments, and outstanding items.
  • You clarify questions and special cases directly with customers – in writing as well as by telephone.
  • You document cases for clarification in such a way that the status is traceable at all times.

Your success is evident in: a decreasing DSO, clean OPOS lists, and cases that are not left unresolved.
