We’re currently expanding our finance and operations team and are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to help support our next phase of growth.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for overseeing customer accounts, ensuring timely invoicing and collections, and supporting sales and commission reporting. This role requires excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with both internal teams and external partners.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, bookkeeping, or finance
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop
  • Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Experience using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage time independently in a remote setting
  • Preferred Experience in Consumer Products

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working with retailers such as ACE Hardware, Home Depot, or Walmart
  • Familiarity with Shopify and/or EDI portals
  • Understanding of sales commission structures
  • U.S. Based (excluding California residents)

Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor Accounts Receivable activities and customer payments
  • Generate and send invoices through QuickBooks
  • Track payments, apply credits, and reconcile accounts
  • Follow up on past-due invoices professionally and promptly
  • Prepare Sales and Commission Reports for leadership and sales teams
  • Maintain customer account records and assist in onboarding new customers in QuickBooks
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams to ensure accurate reporting
  • Assist with monthly reconciliation and audit preparation as needed
