JOB SUMMARY

As an Accounts Receivable Supervisor, you will oversee the accounts receivable department’s daily operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. You will be responsible for maintaining financial records, resolving discrepancies, and supervising a team of accounts receivable clerks.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in an accounting or accounts receivable role
  • Experience with standard costing and a manufacturing background
  • Proficiency in Oracle
  • Strong leadership and excellent communication skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred
  • Familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks, Sage, or Quicken
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret financial data accurately
  • Ability to lead a team and prioritize tasks effectively
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $64,627.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise accounts receivable clerks to ensure efficient workflow
  • Review and analyze financial transactions to identify discrepancies
  • Monitor accounts to ensure timely collection of payments
  • Conduct account reconciliations and resolve billing issues
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Quicken for financial tasks
  • Implement and maintain accounting procedures in compliance with GAAP standards
  • Perform double-entry bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records
