BlueSpirg is adding an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to our team. The AR Supervisor should be knowledgeable in the healthcare revenue cycle space as it relates to researching, analyzing, and resolving open insurance claims and balances. You will be responsible for accurate and timely resolution or rejected, underpaid, or denied claims through claim corrections and appeals. Responsibilities How can I make a Difference? Conducting a daily review of assigned patient accounts to identify and research denied and underpaid claims Taking the initiative to start the follow-up process with insurance companies to communicate and resolve claims related issues with insurance companies Maintaining accurate and clear notations on patient accounts of follow-up actions taken Communicating recurring denials and claims processing delays on a regular basis with the Revenue Cycle Management team Utilizing monthly aging accounts receivable reports to follow up on unpaid claims aged over 30 days Responding to inquiries from insurance companies, patients, and other co-workers Regularly attending and participating in weekly staff meetings and continuing educational sessions as requested Performing additional duties as requested by the Revenue Cycle Management team Other Job related duties as assigned Qualifications Qualifications Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 2 or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
