Description

LHH is hiring an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead collections for a client in the medical device manufacturing industry. This role is critical to maintaining healthy cash flow, ensuring timely collections, and supporting our financial infrastructure as we continue to scale. You will oversee a team of AR professionals and drive process improvements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Accounts Receivable department, including hiring, training, performance management, and professional development.
  • Oversee the full AR cycle: invoicing, collections, cash application, and dispute resolution.
  • Monitor aging reports and proactively manage outstanding balances to minimize risk and improve DSO.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to resolve billing issues and streamline workflows.
  • Establish and enforce AR policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Prepare and present AR metrics and reports to senior leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience.

Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage change, and implement process improvements.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in B2B is a plus.
