ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE TEAM LEAD (BELFAST, HYBRID)

VANRATH is delighted to be partnering with a global organisation that is recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Team Lead to join their expanding Belfast team. This is a newly established position, offering the chance to shape the role and drive improvements in process and performance.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As Accounts Receivable Team Lead, your core responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Finance Manager in managing the daily operations of the accounts receivable team
  • Collaborating with other team leaders to create and implement structured training and development plans
  • Overseeing the distribution and prioritisation of workloads across the team
  • Providing guidance and support on escalated queries and complex customer accounts
  • Holding regular one-to-one meetings with team members to drive performance and development
  • Playing a key role in managing debt recovery, aged receivables, and escalation processes

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a finance or credit control role with supervisory or leadership duties
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with senior stakeholders
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong overall IT proficiency
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and lead a high-performing tea
