A leading, Top 15 chartered accountancy firm is looking for a driven and ambitious Accounts Semi Senior to join it’s Agriculture, Food and Farming team based out of its friendly Peterborough office. You’ll work with a variety of clients predominantly in the Agricultural and Food sector and there will be opportunities to work in other sectors associated with Agri-business.

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS

AAT level 3 or 4, ACCA, or ACA.
Experience of accounts preparation
At least three years’ experience within a practice environment
Experience of work within an Agricultural or associated background is preferred.
Strong double entry knowledge and skill
Cloud based accounting systems knowledge including Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks.
Software experience with Farmplan, KeyPrime and SumIT/TOTAL is preferred.
Basic tax knowledge including awareness of how to do tax computations, PAYE and VAT
