This role is responsible for monitoring stock levels, analyzing inventory data, and preparing reports to support purchasing and operational decisions. Day-to-day tasks include reconciling stock discrepancies, reviewing sales and usage trends, and recommending optimal reorder points and safety stock levels. The Inventory Analyst will coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, and sales teams to ensure accurate data entry, timely stock replenishment, and effective inventory workflows. The role also involves maintaining inventory systems, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and contributing to policies that reduce stockouts, excess inventory, and waste.Qualifications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working with spreadsheets, databases, or inventory management systems.
• Solid understanding of inventory control principles, demand planning, and basic supply chain or logistics concepts.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and reconciliation of stock counts.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site.
• Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant business software; experience with ERP or inventory platforms is an advantage.
• Relevant qualification in business, supply chain, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Previous experience in inventory analysis, warehousing, or operations is beneficial, particularly in a manufacturing or distribution setting.
