JOB SUMMARY

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and transactions across the business. You will manage a variety of accounting tasks including bookkeeping, invoices, budgets and tax returns. Working in a small team provides the opportunity to develop your career.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • AAT-qualified accountant technician.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting post ATT qualification.
  • Ability to prioritise a varied workload.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and confidently with people at all levels.
  • Use of IT accounting Software, e.g. Xero.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Assisting in the preparation of financial accounts.
  • Recording receipts and payments.
  • Completing and submitting basic tax returns (such as VAT).
  • Managing company expenses.
  • Monthly payroll.
  • Monitor and manage cash flows and rolling cash flow forecast.
  • Ensure daily reconciliation of bank accounts.
  • Oversee management of aged debtors.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Must have the permanent right to work in the U.K.
