Our client, a well-established and growing accountancy practice, is currently seeking to expand their team with an Accounts Technician, a Part-Qualified Accountant, and a Qualified Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of financial and management accounts for a varied client base
  • Assisting with audits and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Preparing personal and corporate tax returns
  • Providing clients with general business and financial advice
  • Supporting senior staff and contributing to the overall success of the practice

The Ideal Candidates Will Have

  • Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment
  • Strong technical knowledge in accounts preparation and/or taxation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and a varied client portfolio
  • Good IT proficiency, with knowledge of accounting software packages

Requirements by Role

  • Accounts Technician: IATI or equivalent qualification (or working towards), with relevant practice experience
  • Part-Qualified Accountant: ACA/ACCA student with significant progress made towards qualification
  • Qualified Accountant: ACA/ACCA qualified, ideally with at least 3 years’ practice experience
