    You’ll work at Cordwallis Group with MAN, Mercedes & Isuzu Trucks some of the world’s leading manufacturers of heavy commercial vehicles. You’ll carry out diagnosis and repairs for customers as well as services, maintenance, and repairs on some of the most respected trucks in the industry and will enjoy continued development and training at our industry-leading training centres.

Preferred but not essential requirements

  • Level 3 Qualification desired, however, we will consider time served applications over 5 years with proven experience
  • LGV/HGV/PCV Licence an advantage
  • Roadside Assistance Training qualification an advantage
  • Bus and coach experience an advantage
  • IRTEC accreditation desirable but not essential as we have IRTEC courses available

Responsibilities

Working as part of the Reading Team, you will be responsible for completing diagnostic appointments as well as repairs identified on our customers vehicles. Routine maintenance inspections, servicing, general repairs will also be required at times. We will also commit to developing you further to increase your knowledge of our Brands and ensuring repairs are completed within manufacturer guidelines.

  • On Target Realistic Earnings (OTE) – £60,329.00 per annum
  • Basic Salary up to £45,000+ depending on your experience to date - includes Shift Payment
  • Basic hours are 40 per week
  • In addition an achievable productivity bonus up to £6,000 per annum available on reaching targets (paid monthly)
  • Overtime readily available
  • Weekends and outside of basic hours paid at 1.5

    – Split Shifts of Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and 1.00pm to 10pm (one hour unpaid lunch)
