JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technician to join our team. This position requires a strong background in dispensing and accuracy checking, as well as patient interaction, making it essential for candidates to possess relevant experience and qualifications.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role within a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of medication administration practices and pharmaceutical terminology.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • A relevant qualification or certification in pharmacy technology or related field is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, including compounding when necessary.
  • Provide excellent patient care by answering queries, offering guidance on medication usage, and addressing any concerns.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and medication inventories, ensuring all documentation is up to date.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes through effective communication and teamwork.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
