Job Summary: The role of the Associate Creative Director (ACD) Art is to help build and maintain excellent relationships with high profile clients and the internal team by delivering brand expertise and remarkable creative concepts and design. Advancing art and design with hands-on creative leadership along with a firm knowledge of technology and tools for best in class, efficient and novel creative, art and design creation. The ACD would be accountable for working with the full team, especially the ACD, copy position and applying a strong leadership hand across the brands omni-channel ecosystem. Duties / Responsibilities: • Develop creative concepts for high-level, integrated brand initiatives and campaigns that crystallize the strategic insight and map back to business objectives • Functions as brand lead, ensuring all assets/concepts fit within brand guidelines, managing communications directly with the client • Concepts and develops overall brand strategy alongside Copy counterparts. Delegates design tasks to team to execute, manages approval process • Manage workflow efficiently of yourself and your team, taking responsibility for timing and delivery • Manage, mentor and develop all direct reports • Own creative art output for assigned brand • Working to various timelines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and consistent branding of yourself and your team • Explain reasoning behind design/brand strategies--clearly and effectively communicating the WHY's behind the design • 50-60% leading, ideating and directing art/design team, and 50-40% hands-on art/design • Expertly managing the creative process– keep things flowing smoothly, continually reviewing and optimizing • Presenting creative work to account and creative leads, as well as directly to clients - explaining strategic vision Skills and Qualifications: • Experience with print, digital required, environmental design experience preferred • Ability to lead creative concept process and produce work that leads by example • Prior experience in a strategic role that delegates work to art/design team, while also retaining full responsibility of final output • Ability to deliver projects on time and on budget, while exceeding client expectations • Prior experience in management role • Thinks creatively and strategically • Demonstrates very strong conceptual skills • Possesses strong verbal communication and presentation skills • Able to articulate and defend ideas in a clear manner • Has proven understanding of digital marketing, Figma, and UX • Able to create time estimates for work on each project • Operates as a team player • Has a working knowledge of medical claim and MLR processes • Experience with print, digital, environmental design experience • Full proficiency in Adobe Creative suite Education / Experience: • BA or equivalent in art/design field • 7-10 years of experience in an advertising agency • 5 years of experience in a pharma advertising agency • 5 years of leadership experience • Outstanding portfolio of work Working Conditions: • Hybrid working if within 40 miles of a Relevate Health Office (Dallas, Boston, Cincinnati, New Jersey) • Remote working if outside 40 miles of a Relevate Health Office • Travel may apply based on position • Hours may vary based on position and location of client Relevate Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
