JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for support of the ACH Department and the customers defined by the ACH Customer Support model. Responsibilities include ensuring all customer research is processed promptly and accurately following compliance with the ACH guidelines and NACHA rules. This position requires thorough knowledge of the ACH network, ACH products and services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two to four years of experience in clerical or operations activities

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Basic knowledge of various operations in the ACH area
  • Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
  • Good customer service and data entry skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to identify and resolve/escalate problems
Responsibilities

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Process requests from our corporate customers
  • Process return requests on business transactions
  • Process requests from other financial institutions within the NACHA timeframe.
  • Act as the level 2 contact for research inquiries from Commercial Customer Service
  • Serve as the base of information for ACH related inquiries from other internal departments
  • Responsible for educating business customers on the NACHA rules.
  • Work special handling return and research requests from corporate customers timely and accurately
