POSITION SUMMARY:

The Y Achievers Coordinator at the YMCA of Greenwich is a passionate youth development professional responsible for leading, implementing, and expanding a dynamic college and career readiness program for middle and high school students. This position integrates academic enrichment, leadership development, mentorship, financial literacy, and social-emotional learning (SEL) to help youth explore postsecondary options and achieve lifelong success. The Coordinator will facilitate program delivery at school and community sites, engage families and partners, track outcomes, and contribute to a strong, mission-driven team.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt | Full-Time or Part-Time

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, human services, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience working with school-aged youth, preferably in youth development or college/career readiness programs.
• CPR, First Aid, AED, and Child Abuse Prevention certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings and weekends.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
