POSITION SUMMARY
The Acoustical Engineer is responsible for designing transducer, enclosure, and loudspeaker/microphone products from beginning-concept into the final marketplace. They work closely with other company team members such as Project Managers, Industrial Designers, Acoustical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Process Engineers, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Material Planning all the way through product realization. They provide written specifications for sales and marketing distribution as well as initial instructions and diagrams for customer use. They perform a wide variety of tasks to support the research and development department including regular product troubleshooting, investigation, and manufacturing support with occasional training and mentoring to peers.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Acoustic Engineering, or Physics
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of three years’ acoustic engineering experience – speaker/subwoofer design experience preferred
