Summary/Objective: Acoustical Sales Specialists are responsible for growing and maintaining a current customer base by providing an invaluable level of customer service through the sale of various building materials, with a concentrated effort on selling acoustical solutions. Requirements Essential Functions: · Develop unique plans of action for each customer, track and monitor success, and adapt when necessary to ensure growth; effectively gather and capitalize on generated sales leads · Build long-term customer relationships by providing price quotations, taking material orders, and ensuring orders are properly placed and delivered on time · Provide competitive pricing to clients with an understanding of overall market conditions · Understand complete product mixes and impart that information via cross-selling in order to add value to your customers’ business · Learn product features and associated customer benefits for major product categories and be familiar with the application of those products in residential and commercial projects. · Maintain internal call logs and report to the Branch Manager/Management Team regularly on their efforts in the field.
