JOB SUMMARY

We’re looking for an experienced sales manager to come and drive the growth in our acoustics and audio department. This is an opportunity to own the sales for an entire unit of the business, focusing on growing the Zone Array in the UK and supporting our future EU expansion. You’ll set the strategy, develop new business, nurture existing accounts and collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery and installation.
We’re open to people from any background, but if you’re familiar with acoustic principles and laws, temporary structures such as marquees and tipis, and have sold audio installation or soundproofing equipment before, then this is a perfect match.
Split time between our office in Kirdford, West Sussex, customer sites across the UK and occasional overseas travel.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven track record in technical sales within acoustic solutions, AV or live events
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong understanding of acoustic principles and audio system design
  • Experience or familiarity with UK noise regulations for events and venues
  • Familiarity with our Zone Array technology and Symetrix or similar DSP platforms is preferable but not required.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and target driven, comfortable working autonomously
  • Willingness to travel frequently, including occasional overseas trips
Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within wedding industry, live-events, hospitality and leisure sectors
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, consultants and structure providers
  • Prepare proposals, quotations and technical presentations/demos for acoustic systems
  • Develop and lead our Acoustics sales strategy alongside our marketing team, including target market profiling and sales enablement/collateral creation support.
  • Work with Acoustic Consultants & Environmental Health Officers to understand and advise on a customer’s noise situation and appropriate mitigations.
  • Advise clients on system design, site suitability and acoustic treatment solutions
  • Work alongside the Operations Manager & Acoustics team on pre-sales surveys, site assessments
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, reporting progress through CRM
  • Provide regular market feedback to inform product development and marketing strategy
  • Attend industry events, exhibitions and trade shows to promote our products
