POSITION SUMMARY
Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for an Acquisition Intelligence Support Professional providing support to the NC3 Contract and specifically the NC division.
The AFNWC/NC3 Integration Directorate is headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA, with an operating location at Kirtland AFB, NM. The NC3 Directorate’s mission is to provide support to the Program Executive Office (PEO), the Deputy Director, Deputy AFPEO NC3 and staff for acquisition and administrative control of all NC divisions, branches, and programs. It consists of an Executive Section, Engineering (EN), Financial Management (FM), Operations Management (OM), Information Protection (IP), Contracts (PK), Cyber, Logistics (LG), the Program Execution Group (PEG) and Intelligence (IN).
The employee will contribute technically and administratively to Intelligence Sensitive programs within AFNWC/NC and address specific intelligence requirements while assessing the impact of technically advanced threat and security support issues to reduce program and operational risks. Acquisition Intelligence (AI) is provided to program efforts by teaming with program offices, product centers, and the Intelligence Community (IC) to provide system engineering and technical analysis level inputs in support of major acquisition decisions and in accordance with current acquisition guidelines. Develop and staff Intelligence Health Assessments (IHA)’s as documented in DoDI 5000.86 and AFMC Material Intelligence Enterprise (MIE) Manual.
Acquisition Intelligence has two primary goals. The first is to identify intelligence requirements early in the lifecycle to minimize cost, schedule, and performance risks; the second is to support programs/initiatives throughout their lifecycle with high-quality intelligence material through a set of standard acquisition intelligence processes and tools. As the intelligence support to both PEO NC3 and the AFNWC Directorate, AFNWC/NC Intelligence addresses threat support to the PEO, its divisions, and branches, as well as the System of Systems Program Management Offices.
AFNWC/ NC Integration Directorate has expanded intelligence requirements necessitating threat analysis supporting various efforts in NCW Integration Division and NCZ Special Programs Division. Intelligence Expertise is needed to help shape the future NC3 capabilities to reduce risk in capability development. Specific intelligence requirements include analysis of adversary emerging threats, briefings on various adversary capabilities, assistance in assess risk assessments, and providing recommendations to the NC3 team members to address and pivot threats.
AFNWC/NC intelligence personnel are now required to conduct more non-traditional research and analysis. This addition provides more detailed NC3 threat influence, as a positive, but demands more analytic timing and manpower for threat-informed support.
