About the role:
As an Acquisition Performance & Planning Analyst within the Consumer Growth business unit, you’ll play a critical role in generating insights and conducting analyses to inform around its strategic direction, while also developing strategic plans.
Using your analytical skills, you’ll conduct market and competitor analysis to provide insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making, helping AGL maximize market share among residential and SME customers.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Strategy Development: Development of acquisition strategies and focusing on strategic initiatives to drive consumer growth
  • Business Planning: Actively participate in the development of the Consumer Growth strategy and business plan, integrating cross-functional inputs to ensure a holistic and cohesive approach.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct detailed market research to identify opportunities and inform decision-making.
  • Competitor Analysis: Analyse industry trends and competitor strategies to generate insights and help position AGL as a market leader.
  • Resource Planning: Assist in the allocation of resources across activities, balancing budget considerations with strategic priorities to maximise ROI.
  • Forecasting: Contribute insights to the forecasting process, playing a pivotal role in predicting outcomes and refining acquisition and marketing strategies.

About you:

To help you be successful and enjoy fulfilment in this role, you’ll ideally bring the following with you –

  • 3+ years’ experience in a related role within strategy, planning or management consulting, with a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in market research and analysis tools, alongside a familiarity with forecasting models and methodologies.
  • A commercial mindset, with excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Energy, Finance, or Consulting industry experience.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic plans.
