ABOUT THE ROLE The Acquisitions & Development Intern will work alongside members of the A&D team over a four-week assignment, gaining firsthand exposure to the inner workings of a real estate investment and development organization. This role is designed to provide a meaningful learning experience through hands-on administrative and clerical support, while offering visibility into how acquisitions, underwriting, and development projects are structured, tracked, and executed at ITEX. WHAT YOU’LL DO Organize, file, and maintain department documents, reports, and project correspondence Assist with data entry related to property research, deal tracking, and pipeline management Support the preparation of presentations, executive summaries, and internal reports Coordinate scheduling, meeting logistics, and incoming communications for team members Conduct basic market research and compile findings as directed by department leadership Maintain department records and ensure files are accurately labeled and up to date Provide general administrative support across the Acquisitions & Development team WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented student who is eager to learn and ready to contribute in a professional real estate environment. Requirements REQUIREMENTS Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Urban Planning, or a related field Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively PHYSICAL DEMANDS This role is primarily office-based and requires prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer. Occasional filing or light lifting of documents and materials (up to 15 lbs.) may be required. Responsibilities
