Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for an Acquisitions Support Specialist to support the U.S. Space Forces mission of delivering warfighter capability via the Space Systems Command’s Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power and Battle Management, Command, Control and Communications weapon system portfolios. Onsite in El Segundo, CA.

Essential Duties of the Acquisitions Support Specialist:

  • Provide advice to Program/Project Managers regarding acquisition strategies, schedules, contracting, budgeting and execution.
  • Develop acquisition plans, schedules, and executive program briefings.
  • Develop, draft, and coordinate overarching program planning and execution documents.
  • Provide technical and programmatic assessments of contractor design/milestone reviews to assess progress, risks and issues, and the ability to achieve mission requirements.

Qualifications of the Acquisitions Support Specialist:

  • 6-14+ years of experience in acquisition support.
  • Experience in government weapon systems acquisitions and program management and/or Contracts management within the Department of Defense
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree at a minimum.

Compensation for the Acquisitions Support Specialist:

  • $120,000 - $160,000 (based on experience)
