INTRODUCTION:

Jinding is seeking a driven and strategic Acquisition Manager to join our Developments team. This pivotal role is responsible for securing land for future developments and delivering a robust pipeline of projects across Victoria, South Australia, and Western Australia, with occasional support in other states.

As an Acquisitions Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Develop and execute land acquisition strategies aligned with company goals.
• Lead negotiations, feasibility studies, and due diligence for all acquisitions.
• Source and secure ‘off market’ opportunities through targeted outreach and mapping.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, landowners, and consultants.
• Conduct strategic assessments of catchments to identify target acquisition areas.
• Prepare and manage financial models and feasibility studies for internal approvals.
• Coordinate internal approval processes including submissions to executive committees.
• Manage project budgets and consultant engagements during acquisition phases.
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in emerging markets or sectors.
• Prepare business plans, strategy papers, and board submissions for new initiatives.

• Proven experience in land acquisition or property development.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
• Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and attention to detail.

Qualifications and Experience..

• Relevant property or finance degree
• 5 years’ experience with at least the last 3 in the Vic market
