QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ year experience supporting Military Families with community services or referrals
  • Able to lift up to 60 lbs for Lending Closet responsibilities
  • Strong English language proficiency (Level 3 or higher), with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently in both written and verbal formats; skilled in engaging with diverse individuals and conveying information in a courteous, approachable, and professional manner
  • Technically skilled in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Able to pass a background check

THIS ROLE ENSURES SOLDIERS AND FAMILY MEMBERS RECEIVE THE GUIDANCE AND RESOURCES NEEDED TO SUCCESSFULLY NAVIGATE MILITARY LIFE OCONUS.THIS IS AN EXCELLENT FIT FOR CANDIDATES WITH PRIOR MILITARY SUPPORT EXPERIENCE OR THOSE WHO ARE SERVICE-MINDED, ADAPTABLE, AND THRIVE IN PEOPLE-FOCUSED ROLES.

WHAT YOU’LL DOLending Closet Services

  • Prepare, issue, receive, and properly store items per Relocation Readiness Program (RRP) guidelines
  • Safely lift and transport items up to 60 lbs
  • Keep inventory clean, organized, and accessible
  • Notify customers of overdue items via email and a follow-up phone call
  • Maintain and file a hard copy of the Lending Closet contracts
  • Enter transactions and contacts into the Army Family Web Portal daily
  • Conduct an inventory of supply items and provide a status report of the inventory quarterly
  • Complete records for the disposal of all items that have reached the end of their lifecycle and remove items from inventory
  • Dispose of the items utilizing on-post recycling and disposal facilities
  • Choose and purchase Lending Closet items
