We're Actemium Automation Teesside - part of the global VINCI Group - and we're on the lookout for a Senior Control Systems Engineer who is passionate about technology, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is ready to make an impact. 👷‍♂️ What You'll Do You'll play a key role in delivering cutting-edge control and automation solutions for a wide range of industrial clients. From concept through to commissioning, you'll be involved every step of the way. Your day-to-day will include: Actively participating in the whole life cycle of delivering projects, from start to finish. Fostering great relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues. Producing design and test documentation. Developing PLC, DCS, HMI and SCADA software, including platforms such as Siemens PCS 7 and Rockwell PlantPAx. Performing testing with customers. Carrying out on-site commissioning. Compiling training manuals and running customer training sessions. 🧠 What You Bring A strong understanding and experience with major brands of PLC, DCS and SCADA/HMI platforms, including Siemens PCS 7 and PlantPAx, with an appetite to learn new technologies. Experience writing software and working with customers to deliver projects. Good understanding of setting up, commissioning, and fault finding of industrial networks (Profibus, ProfiNet, Ethernet) preferred, but not essential. Experience working in an engineering environment. An appetite to be the lead engineer on projects and learn new technologies when required. 🎁 Why Join Us?
