Independent, welcoming performing arts school for ages 4–18 in Reading and Wokingham. For over 10 years we’ve helped young people build confidence, creativity and strong performance skills in a supportive, inclusive environment.
The Role
Deliver engaging acting and musical theatre classes to children and teens. You’ll plan lessons, prepare performance material for showcases, and create a safe, positive space for all abilities. Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality acting/musical theatre lessons
  • Rehearse and direct material for end-of-term showcases
  • Give clear, constructive feedback to help every child progress
  • Maintain excellent behaviour management and safeguarding standards
  • Communicate professionally with parents/carers when needed
  • Work collaboratively with the First Impressions team
  • Report writing at the end of the academic year.

About You

  • Strong background in acting, musical theatre or performing arts (teaching or professional)
  • Confident teaching drama, singing and dance
  • LAMDA experience is a bonus - training can be provided
  • Committed and reliable, with great organisation and classroom management
  • Warm, approachable, and able to engage mixed ages and abilities
  • Enhanced DBS and safeguarding training (or willingness to obtain)

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £22.00-£24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 8 per week
Work Location: On the roa
