The firm is seeking to recruit an experienced Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join our expanding Actions Against the Police team. Full training will be provided should the candidate have no experience in this area.
The ideal candidate will have: -
· 3 years litigation experience which is essential;
· A strong billing history;
Responsibilities will include: -
· Running a caseload from inception to conclusion, including investigations, obtaining expert evidence, drafting Letters of Claim, settlement negotiations, drafting pleadings and litigating as appropriate;
· Vetting and risk assessing new cases coming into the department;
· Working to deadlines;
· Providing a high level of client service.
