Irvings Law is a specialist litigation practice located in Liverpool city centre and established for over 40 years. We are seeking an experienced solicitor or CILEX to join our team. Salary dependent on experience.
You will have a minimum of three years claimant litigation experience in Actions Against the Police or a related area of civil litigation. You must be able to handle, and have a proven track record of, taking claims through all steps to trial.
Rather than processing volume claims, our focus is on maximising outcomes for clients through our litigation expertise and high standards of service. We offer a generous bonus scheme based on billing which will add significantly to the overall package on offer for a candidate with the ambition, drive and personal organisation the role requires. There is the flexibility to work remotely for one day per week if desired.

The role:

  • Running a caseload of pre- and post-litigation claims
  • Comply with Pre Action-Protocols
  • Draft Letters of Claim
  • Collation of special damages
  • Negotiation and settlement
  • Liaise with counsel
  • Issue Court Proceedings
  • Manage all steps to JSM or trial
  • Conduct enforcement proceedings
