Responsibilities
  • Customer onboarding: Specialists manage the entire client activation process, which includes setting up new accounts, configuring software, and installing hardware such as credit card terminals.
  • Product training: They conduct training sessions for clients to ensure they understand how to use the payment processing system, including its features, workflows, and best practices.
  • Technical troubleshooting: Specialists diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the payment application or connectivity. They may also escalate more complex problems to internal technical teams.
  • Compliance guidance: They educate merchants on important topics such as Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance, refund procedures, and managing chargebacks.
  • Customer support: Throughout the activation period, specialists act as a point of contact for customer inquiries and help address any concerns to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
  • Relationship management: This role builds strong relationships with new customers, proactively engaging them to encourage product feature adoption and increase usage volume.
