Under supervision, provides a total health-oriented recreation program in both individual and group settings to include physical, creative arts, social, orientation, validation, reminiscence, sensory stimulation, living skills, esteem building and intellectual stimulation for residents of LTC and swing bed patients. Adapts groups to the individual needs of residents with varying degrees of physical and mental disabilities. Provides special activities to meet the special needs of the cognitively impaired and the diverse cultural mix of the residents. Under supervision, assesses and sets recreational goals and objectives for residents, evaluates progress or identifies regression, and documents daily attendance. Requires participation in Interdisciplinary Care Conference. We are hiring for an Activities Aide position at Providence Seward Mountain Haven in Seward, AK!
