Must have current KS CNA certification Job Schedule: Monday – Friday: 8-4:30pm Every other Saturday 10-2:30pm Job Purpose and Function The primary purpose of your job position is to assist in the creation and handling of the logistics for daily, weekly, and monthly events in an effort to engage residents. You will speak to participants to get feedback, manage your resources needed for the activities, and deliver fun, safe activities while on time and under budget. This position’s main focus is to deliver meaningful, social, physical and enjoyable activities to all individuals in our community, while maintaining their highest level of functioning by providing an array of activities. Preferred Experience: One year minimum experience as a CNA in a long term care facility. Major Duties & Responsibilities · We realize continuity of care is important, however all staff is expected to be flexible in the event assignments need to be changed · Aware of and lives out Villa’s Mission of Values: Faith, Integrity, Excellence, Compassionate service and Respect to all · Planning and facilitating daily, weekly and monthly events · Implementing activities that accommodate those with special needs such as hearing or seeing impairment and or any other limitations they may have · Observation of participation · Documentation daily · Monthly or Quarterly progress notes are required · Providing participants with instructions for the event including staff or volunteers helpers · Adhering and enforcing all safety procedures · CNA License Required EOE, including disability and veterans
