OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Activities Director to join our team in providing enriching experiences for residents in our Care Home for gentlemen. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care, with specific experience in dementia and Alzheimer’s care. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through engaging activities that promote social interaction, mental stimulation, and physical well-being.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in Care Home settings is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff members.
  • A compassionate approach to caregiving with a genuine interest in enhancing the lives of seniors.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Creative thinking skills to develop innovative activities that cater to diverse interests.
