Activities Coordinator – Bring Joy & Creativity to Every Day!
Location: Oldway Heights, Paignton
Hours: part time (3 days per week) 10am-5pm
Hourly Rate: Competitive, paid every 4 weeks

Oldway Heights is a vibrant care home in the heart of Paignton, supporting adults with physical and cognitive disabilities to live their best lives. We’re on the lookout for a dynamic, creative, and caring Activities Coordinator to spark joy, connection, and confidence through a wide range of engaging activities and events.
What You’ll Be Doing:
· Designing and delivering fun, varied daily activities like arts & crafts, film nights, cooking clubs, gardening, and music sessions
· Planning exciting day trips and holidays – from beach days to theme parks – with full support logistics
· Creating a monthly newsletter and keeping our social media alive with content that showcases the heart of Oldway life
· Working closely with residents, their families, and the care team to tailor activities that match interests, personalities, and support needs
· Helping every resident feel included, inspired, and valued
· Ensuring activities are safe, accessible, and inclusive for all
What We’re Looking For:
· A passion for supporting people with disabilities to thrive
· Confidence to lead fun, meaningful sessions with warmth and energy
· Organisational skills to plan and promote events, both in and outside the home
· Creative flair – whether it’s coming up with a gardening club or running karaoke nights!
· Basic knowledge of social media and newsletters (we’ll support you to build confidence here)
