Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

We are seeking an energetic, compassionate, and highly organised Activities Coordinator to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing a range of engaging and stimulating activities designed to enhance the quality of life for our residents.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to determine residents’ interests, needs, and abilities.
  • Develop and execute a monthly activities calendar tailored to our residents’ preferences.
  • Facilitate group and individual activities, ensuring they are accessible to all, including those with physical or cognitive limitations.
  • Manage activity budgets and resources effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation pertaining to resident participation and activity outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff to optimise the impact of the activities program.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe and compliant manner in accordance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
