Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Activities Coordinator to join our team. The Activities Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of activities for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with people and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives. Responsibilities: - Plan and organize a variety of activities for clients, including but not limited to arts and crafts, games, exercise classes, and outings. - Develop and maintain a calendar of events and activities. - Work with clients to identify their interests and preferences and incorporate them into the activity schedule. - Ensure that all activities are safe, appropriate, and enjoyable for clients. - Maintain accurate records of attendance and participation in activities. - Collaborate with other staff members to ensure that activities are integrated into the overall care plan for each client. - Communicate regularly with clients and their families to keep them informed about upcoming activities. - Housekeeping duties as needed. Shift : Monday to Friday 12:45pm to 5pm Rate: $17.25 Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. - Previous experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities preferred. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Creativity and enthusiasm for developing engaging activities. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for clients' privacy. - Must be able to pass a background check.
