ACTIVITIES COORDINATOR-LOCATION: 1 WEST HARLING ROAD, EAST HARLING, NR16 2NP

At Black Swan Care Group, we are currently looking for an activities coordinator to work in one of our residential care facilities, The Beeches on a part time, 20 hour, permanent contract, £12.60 per hour.
The Beeches is a Care Home in East Harling, providing care to the elderly and those living with Dementia. The Beeches stand in 2 acres of land which was originally a rectory. The home has successfully maintained its “Outstanding Overall” rating from the CQC, which makes it among the top 4% in the country.

REQUIREMENTS OF AN ACTIVITIES COORDINATOR:

• Flexibility with working hours

• Co-ordinate an inclusive program of activities which residents can participate in and help in the care of the residents’ physical environment and in the general day to day activities of the home.
• Ensure the residents are happy and fulfilled in whatever activities they choose and help in the promotion of mental and physical activity by talking to residents, taking them out, sharing with them in activities such as reading, writing, hobbies, and recreations.
• Help residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including incontinence; help in use and care of aids and personal equipment.
