As the Activities Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our vibrant community, designing and leading a dynamic activities program that enhances the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. You’ll manage a small team of Activity Assistants and work closely with interdisciplinary staff to ensure every resident feels engaged, valued, and connected. What You’ll Do: Create & Lead Programs: Plan and implement a variety of recreational, therapeutic, and social activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities. Resident-Centered Planning: Conduct regular assessments to personalize activities and ensure inclusivity for all cognitive and physical levels. Special Events & Outings: Organize memorable events, holiday celebrations, and outings—yes, you’ll even drive our residents to fun destinations! Collaborate Across Teams: Work with nursing, therapy, and social services to align activities with residents’ care plans.
