WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.
We are looking for someone who is either working towards an NVQ Level 3 in Care (for existing Priory employees) or willing to work towards this qualification (for external applicants). The successful candidate will be able to organise and prioritise their own workload within ward procedures and requirements, liaising with and referring issues to senior staff when necessary. The role offers some flexibility in how routine tasks are carried out, with a creative approach encouraged when facilitating sessions. We value individuals who contribute ideas to help develop and improve ward or hospital activities. Previous experience in a mental health, learning disability, or challenging behaviour setting is essential, along with the knowledge and skills developed through this work.
