POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Activities Coordinator to plan, organize, and implement a wide variety of recreational, social, and educational activities for our residents. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, energy, and a genuine passion for enriching the lives of older adults.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in senior living, assisted living, or recreational programming strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Energetic, creative, and able to engage residents in meaningful ways.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, coordinate, and lead daily activities and special events tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
  • Promote social engagement and encourage participation among residents.
  • Collaborate with care staff to integrate activities with residents’ care plans and individual needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of participation and outcomes of activities.
  • Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all residents.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members regarding upcoming programs and events.
