We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Activities Director to join our team. What you’ll be doing: -Champion Pacific Retirement Services (PRS) culture by living our Mission, Vision, and Core Values in all aspects of your role, and advocate for operations and decisions that support residents’ rights and best interests. – Maintain skilled nursing census levels at or above budget by overseeing admissions, building relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, physicians, and families, and collaborating with the Director of Nursing for final admission approvals. – Conduct admission interviews with residents and families to gather required information, explain rights, advance directives, and Medicare-covered services, and ensure all documentation and clinical system updates are completed accurately. – Collaborate closely with Social Services, nursing leadership, and the Transfer Committee to coordinate admissions, care conferences, discharges, and maintain awareness of resident status changes and waitlists. – Ensure each admission is fully prepared—from paperwork and room setup to communication with all involved departments—while maintaining expertise in Medicare services and effectively communicating plan details to residents and families. Pay: $63,000 - $73,000k annually / DOE About you: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in healthcare, scheduling or a related field. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business or a related field is preferred. Working knowledge of CCRC and/or life plan community operations, organizational structure and levels of care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, electronic communication, medical records and clinical software programs.
