What You’ll Be Doing: Plan, coordinate, and implement daily resident engagement programs that meet the diverse needs and interests of residents Supervise engagement team members and volunteers to ensure high-quality programming Collaborate with other departments to integrate activities into overall care plans Support and assist in the care of community pets, including dogs, cats, and birds Promote Silverado’s mission and programs to civic and memory care-related groups May be required to work outside of regular hours depending on business needs Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in a social or recreational program for older adults Experience working with individuals with Alzheimer’s or related dementias is highly desirable Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience, including coaching, team building, and performance management High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred Comfortable working in an environment with pets Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.) Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required Reliable transportation to meet attendance and outreach needs Why Choose Silverado?
