To consider each service users personal circumstances and preferences to help individuals identify their own achievable and meaningful recovery goals and actively, practically and creatively support their progress towards these. To take an active role within supporting therapeutic creative interventions for service users; enabling them to engage and participate within the hospital setting as well as mainstream activity in the domains of employment/vocation, education, leisure, social networks and community connections. Facilitate access to community groups and networks that enable participation in community and/or work activities, to maximise service user’s opportunities for socially valued roles and positive identity. Support other members of the multi-disciplinary team in promoting engagement and activities and in identifying appropriate activities and imparting information/education as required.
