Responsibilities Develops and implements a monthly calendar of activities including organizing community outings and special events for specified participant population. Plans and implements group and individual activities involving cognitive, physical, social, psychosocial, spiritual, and artistic needs and interests of participants. Completes evaluation and assessment of individuals interests, activity preferences, and assistance needs during recreational activities within 30 days of enrollment and annually. Provides personal care and services to assist participants with activities of daily living, including toileting, showers, eating assistance, grooming and oral care. Completes daily documentation in accordance with Federal, State or local regulation and Aging Services policies. Maintains a clean and safe work environment including program areas being maintained and ready for use. Assists with training and indirect supervision of activities volunteers. Maintains a reference library of activity materials, entertainment, and community events. Participates in interdisciplinary team meeting. Performs laundry, housekeeping, direct care, and other duties as assigned. May drive participants to and from the center. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree, preferredHigh School Diploma/GED, required 1 year- Creating and implementing activities for elderly, developmentally disabled, and/or mentally ill, required IA Drivers License, required
