Job Description Darlington Beach Resort | Permanent Part-Time (30 hours/week) 4 days/week | Flexibility required for weekend events Are you passionate about creating memorable guest experiences through fun and engaging activities and well-executed events? Darlington Beach Resort is seeking a creative and organised Activities and Events Coordinator to join our team in a part-time capacity. At Darlington Beach Resort, part of the NRMA Parks and Resorts family, we live by values that put our guests first. What you will do: You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering a range of guest-focused activities and events across the resort. From seasonal celebrations like Spring Fest and Hoe Downs to our signature Camp Out event, you’ll bring energy, creativity, and precision to every experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on both behind-the-scenes planning and hands-on execution. You’ll manage event orders, signage, and setup, and be ready to jump in on the day to ensure everything runs smoothly. Plan and deliver engaging guest activities and resort events. Coordinate event logistics including signage, setup, and pack down. Administer event orders and maintain accurate documentation. Collaborate with resort departments and management to ensure seamless execution. Use design tools (e.g. Canva) to create signage and promotional materials. Be a visible and active presence during events, ensuring guest satisfaction. Monitor feedback and continuously improve the guest experience. What you will bring: Proven experience in event coordination, hospitality, or guest services. Strong administrative and organisational skills. Advanced computer skills, including Canva or similar design platforms. A hands-on approach with a willingness to assist during event execution. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work weekends and evenings when events are scheduled. A passion for creating fun, inclusive, and memorable experiences. What’s in it for you?
