DEPARTMENT: Resort Services (seasonal) REPORTS TO: Resort Services Manager SUMMARY: The Activities Lead will assist the Resort Services Manager with scheduling and overseeing activities staff. Keep inventory of all equipment, report repairs, and replace items as needed. Coach/teach staff on guest relations and customer service. Assist resort staff/guests with all activities, slingshot, crafts, science, tie dye, bingo and more… May assist with all marina activities, including boat preparation and pontoon cruises. Perform outstanding guest service daily. Maintain interdepartmental lines of communication and interact daily with guests and resort staff. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all guests. Maintain staff scheduling. Implement activities schedule. Ensure activities staff are performing at an elite level. Assists guests with registering for activities through Maestro and POS software. Ensures guest satisfaction by meeting or exceeding expectations. Make sure relevant paperwork is completed and turned in along with daily drop if any. Foster positive working relationships and communication with all departments. Assists in marina and event services as needed. All other duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Previous resort experience preferred. Supervisory skills CPR, First Aid, Target Sports, and Boating/Water Safety certification preferred Requirements EXPECTATIONS: The employee must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
