Description Under the general direction of the ADT Senior Program Manager, the Activities & Recreation Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing activities, community outings, and volunteer-supported programs for adults participating in Adult Day Training (ADT). This role ensures participants have access to engaging, inclusive, and well-organized recreational and community experiences that promote independence, creativity, social interaction, and personal choice. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Create and maintain a monthly master activity calendar and community outing schedule. Coordinate with ADT Floor Supervisors to schedule participant groups for activities and outings. Arrange transportation and logistics for community outings and events. Coordinate with case managers regarding permissions, funds, and participant needs. Develop and manage a Community Experience-based group with daily community-focused programming. Collaborate with internal departments and community partners to support recreational, enrichment, and volunteer activities. Coordinate art programming, weekly participant engagement, and special events such as art shows, sales, and auctions. Ensure attendance and participation are documented and maintained in participant records. Work with Marketing to support promotion and social media coverage of activities and events. Identify, develop, and implement new recreational and extracurricular opportunities. Promote Parc’s mission by supporting participant choice, independence, and community inclusion. Complete required training and maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and licensing requirements. Perform other duties as assigned by program leadership. Requirements Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid Florida Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record. Minimum of three (3) years of experience planning and executing activities, events, or recreation programs. Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities preferred. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong organizational and planning skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external community partners. Knowledge of recreational and enrichment programming in an Adult Day Training environment. Ability to meet physical demands including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion. Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other electronic tools. Schedule Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Occasional evenings or weekends may be required for events and outings.
